Activities

Playgroups

Playgroups are a wonderful way to get to know other moms, and give your kids time with other kids. Playgroups are grouped by children's ages and meet either weekly or every other week, as determined by its members. Meetings are held at members' homes, parks, or any mutually agreed upon location.

Park Days/
Playdates

Cedar Park is full of wonderful parks and splash pads.  We meet at parks several times per month with fun items like bubbles, kites, chalk, snacks, or just to play! We also meet for playdates for a variety of activities: crafts, coffee talk, story time, bounce houses, and holiday parties.

Monthly Meeting

At our monthly meetings we discuss any club business, invite guest speakers to speak to the club about various topics of interests to our members, or we have other special events. Past speakers include a Children's Yoga Teacher, pediatrician, personal organizer, and kindergarten readiness speaker.  Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting to get information about our club. Children are welcome to attend.

Tours

Our club regularly goes on tours of local community organizations and businesses.  These are a lot of fun for the kids to explore and learn more about these local resources.  Previous tours include fire stations, veterinarian, HEB, Blue Baker, Dell Diamond, Eileen's Colossal Cookies, and Austin Steam Train.

Moms Night Out

Moms Night Out is lots of fun and provides an opportunity for moms to get out with other mothers for an evening of fun around town. We host monthly MNO to a variety of activities from a nice dinner to game night.

Interest Groups

We have several Interest Groups for our members to explore the hobbies they love.  Book Club, Cooking Club, and Fitness Club currently meet regularly.  We Past Interest Groups include Chatty Crafters and Bunco.  Children are welcome to attend.

Sunshine

This is our club support group. When any mom in our chapter needs support from having an illness, a new baby, a sick spouse, or a death in the family, Sunshine makes sure the club jumps in to ease the burden by providing meals and support for the family.

Service Projects

As a non-profit organization we like to participate in our community through various service projects.  We focus on organizations that support women and children.  Past projects have benefited Austin Diaper Bank, Meals on Wheels, HOPE Alliance, Backpack Coalition and LISD Book Drive.
